I persuaded Jason to watch Mallrats en route... and while he enjoyed most of it, the raunchy parts embarrassed him and felt awkward. Stan Lee laying it on thick, and expressing concern regarding Brody's unhealthy focus on superhero sex organs was hilarious to Jason. Though he was disappointed Jay & Silent Bob never destroyed the stage. I never thought about that part...
Enjoyed a late lunch at The Back Porch in LaGrange... included Uncle Tex due to the Austin Amber beer.. hee hee... Tex didn't appreciate seekng pork though... Tex made some Soylent Green comments to express his displeasure.
After getting back home, i began rewatching Richard Linklater's Before Midnight. I've had the Jesse experience... when I was younger, I was told I resembled Ethan Hawke & Mark McGrath... unlike Jesse, I got back on the plane & went back to Houston... and it was for the best...
